All of the brands we carry: Halo, Dreamcatchers, She, Hairtalk, Covet & Mane, Bellami, and Harper Ellis

are made from natural hair and can be heat styled. 

 

When thinking of getting hair extensions, there are many things to consider such as pricing, maintenance and any potential damage that may occur as a result of having hair extensions.  Friction at the scalp, wind damage from boating or motorcycle rides along with how you care for your extensions will impact your natural hair and the life of your extensions.

The kind of extensions you should select all depends on the kind of look you are seeking. If you want them to look subtle, the extensions should blend with your natural hair tones. If you want them to stand out, then you can opt for that unique pop of color.

Halo Extensions

This is an option to add volume and length with no commitment!  This is hair that is sewn into a large weft with clips and attached to a fish line.  You place it on your head and lift your natural hair over it and press the clips in. The fish line and weft isn’t seen and you have added length and volume instantly with very little damage.

These range in price from $328.00 to $728.00 

 

Tape-In Extensions

These make for a fabulous introduction to extensions! Tape-in Extensions are comfortably secured by a non-slip, medical grade adhesive. The tabs stay locked in place until ready to be moved-up every 6-8 weeks.

  • Natural hair is sandwiched between two individual extensions that are treated with removable adhesive.

  • Best if shampooed twice per week.  Dry shampoo in between.

  • Works well for most hair types

  • Great for adding volume and length.  Especially good for adding volume and length on sides of head.

  • Maintenance is about 6-8 weeks

  • Quick removal and application

  • Very customizable length, color volume and placement

  • Available in fantasy colors

  • Can be reused 2-3 times depending on condition/home care

  • Best for straight to slightly wavy hair

  • If cared for properly, there is minimal damage to natural hair

  • 30-45 minute application time.  Schedule a consultation to determine time and cost

I-Tip Extensions

A number of natural hairs are fused together at the tip to resemble the end of a shoe lace.  These are attached to your own hair by crimping a small silicone coated metal bead around a number of your own hairs.

  • No heat or adhesive used in application.

  • Great for most hair types

  • Easy removal with little damage to your own hair

  • Good for localized areas for volume

  • Great for color customization

  • Can be used with wavy hair

  • Used to add volume or length

  • Available in fantasy colors

  • Recommended only 2 shampoos per week

  • Can reuse this type of extension multiple times

  • Needs to be repositioned every 6 weeks

  • 30 to 90 minute application time depending on amount.

Permanent Hair Extensions

Weft Extensions

Weft

Wefts are rows of hair that are machine sewn together and are the best option when wanting to add a lot of length. Two rows are typically the recommendation.

  • Sewn into a row of silicone lined beads. Approximately 12 beads.

  • Good for people that wash their hair more often as friction will not be as damaging as other types of extensions

  • Good for fine yet dense hair, medium, and coarse hair

  • Perfect for adding lots of length and volume overall

  • Maintenance is about 6-10 weeks.

  • Best for straight hair or slightly wavy

  • Minimal tension on natural hair as it is anchored to the bead

  • 75 – 90 minute application for one row.  Additional time for 2nd row. Schedule a consultation to determine time and cost

  • Hair can be reused multiple times

  • Recommended only 2 shampoos per week

Bonded Extensions

These are about a quarter inch wide and have multiple hairs bonded together with a hardened keratin protein that is melted with a hot implement and wrapped around multiple strands of your natural hair.

  • Great for all hair types

  • Adds Volume and length.  Can be localized in areas. 

  • Can be straight or wavy

  • Available in fantasy colors

  • Can wash up to 3 times per week.

  • Single Use

  • Will create some breakage of natural hair

  • Wavy extensions blend well with curly hair

  • Must be redone every 10-12 weeks
